What is a Fanlisting?

Who are Draco and Luna?

Draco Malfoy is the son of prominent wizard Lucius Malfoy. A Slytherin, he's crafty and intelligent, yet not well-looked upon by the rest of the Houses.

Luna Lovegood is the daughter of the editor of The Quibbler, a magazine looked on as "rubbish." A Ravenclaw (and a year younger than Draco), she's flighty and intelligent, yet not well-looked upon by the rest of the Houses.

They may seem like an odd couple, but together, with his cunning and her craziness, they form quite the duo, playing off each other's strengths and weaknesses while retaining an air of intellect.

Why "Anchor?"

According to Heather, the previous owner of this fanlisting: "Anchor" is the name of an album by Trespassers William. It seemed like a good description of a relationship between Draco and Luna, be it platonic or romantic. While much of the school may cast a wary eye upon them (albeit for different reasons), they'd act as one another's anchor.

What did you use for the layout?

Both the picture of Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy, and Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood were taken from The Leaky Cauldron's Gallery.

If anyone is interested in what the tiny text says under "You are my Anchor", send me an email using the link on the members page and I'll reply back. I never use tiny text brushes, and instead put in something that pertains to the graphic that I'm making. :)

The font was Edwardian Script ITC, and it was all put together in Photoshop.

When did this particular fanlisting start?

Anchor went live on January 3, 2004 thanks to Heather.

When did this particular fanlisting change ownership/move?

It came under the ownership of Jade Bear on September 7, 2004, and joined in as part of Ethereal Ravenclaw. It moved hosts and URLs on April 27th, 2006 (two months after Ethereal Ravenclaw did).
